Alpheus Events & Competitions
The team at Alpheus Leisure keep abreast with local and
national events that present marketing and networking
opportunities for our clients.
Alpheus at a CTO UK Chapter member attended the recent Roadshow
in Reading. The objective was to educate and inform approximately
80 travel agents on the Caribbean region in a series of 10 minute
training sessions. This is an effective marketing tool in
promoting awareness of clients.
One event that we have been attending the Hurtwood Polo
Challenge for 3 years, in which we have marketed key client’s that
match the target audience. In addition we have provided a raffle,
in which we have been able to retain a comprehensive database of
guests attending the event. The database has been used for
mailshots to promote our clients.
Other niche events are attended such as the Diving Show in
Birmingham, Boat Show Earls Court, World Travel Market, BWIA Pow
Wow, Vitality Show Earls Court.

Cinema Television Fund
We have a long-standing relationship with The Cinema &
Television Benevolent Fund, which is the trade charity for the
cinema, film, commercial television and affiliated industries.
Through this exclusive relationship we have been able to promote
our clients to a niche market in the ABC1 target market and have
benefited from national exposure to a key audience.
For the 2004 Christmas Draw Alpheus and their clients Intimate
Hotels donated 7 nights accommodation to this charity. The
Christmas Draw was promoted in all leading Cinemas throughout the
UK and national companies in this field such as Fuji, Pinewood
Studios, UPI, Kodak. As a result Intimate Hotels have seen a
growth in sales.
