Rally Carnival May 2005
“Rally Carnival is fabulous – after enjoying the Rally Sprint at
Vaucluse International Raceway and the main Rally Barbados on the
weekend of May 28th and 29th we will spread the word about this
exhilarating event on our return home.”
Graeme Goodfellow, winner of a competition in leading UK motor
sport magazine Autosport to win a 15-day trip to the 2005 Barbados
Rally Carnival spoke of this event while chilling out in his
poolside villa generously provided by Europa, part of Intimate
Hotels.

The competition was set by prestigious Barbados Travel and
Marketing Specialists, Alpheus Leisure UK, official spectator
travel specialists for the Rally Carnival to promote this unique
event to the UK market.
The Rally Carnival is a yearly event and is attended by 30
European Drivers and is set around several fun events. This year
was particularly eventful as the 1994 World Rally Champion Didier
Auriol was the guest of honour over the weekend of this premier
event. Over the five years of the Rally Carnival, more than 150
overseas drivers have come to Barbados, bringing with them many
thousands of supporters . . . but, never before a former World
Rally Champion.
